On the way back from the session at Hayling, terminated by fear of the shorebreak (!), wanted more, and Esso Beach was totally packed out, so stopped off here to check out conditions. Crap really, heavy chop, wind almost onshore so hard to get off the beach, but Jon Lovell and Nick&Sarah were there. Broke out the kit again and went for it, although had to use old boom because new carbon one jammed :( Felt like very hard work, and only did about 30m. Definitely got the gybe thing down, just need to speed up movements and do it all earlier! Felt good to get out again though.
